Can Massage Help Manifest Your Dreams?

Perhaps this is not the usual way people have come to think of massage.  It’s purpose is to help soothe sore muscles, right?  To create more range of motion through joints and loosen connective tissue and promote relaxation…. right?!

Well, yes, AND — there can also be a deeper purpose to massage.

You see:  We are more than just our physical bodies.  We are also spirit, energy, emotion, and soul.  ALL of these layers need tending in order to manifest a life of THRIVING.

Of particular importance is our Life Force Energy.  Called Prana in some cultures, the Holy Spirit, Qi, and Kundalini…

It’s what animates us from the first cry of awakening at our birth, and it carries us through life as we go.  And it is an energy that we can partner with to help us manifest our Soul Dreams and create a life filled with, well, ALIVENESS!

In this healing massage offering, we tend all the layers of YOU, and discover together where this potent life energy is blocked.  In so doing, we can begin to work with the energetic and physical layers and create openings for new possibilities… Dissolving of old, constrictive habits.

This isn’t something that will happen overnight… Sometimes major breakthroughs can and do happen in a moment.  But life is a process.  We are made of trillions of cells, and so long as LIFE is flowing through us, change is the name of the game.  But it is important to remember that we have INFLUENCE over how this life flows in and through us.  We are POWERFUL beyond what we’ve been led to believe and were taught in school, and we can PARTNER with this life energy, becoming aware of its needs & flows.  We can make NEW CHOICES that SUPPORT and ENHANCE a more JOYFUL and PLEASURABLE flow of life in our day-to-day realities….

Are you in the midst of a life change??

Are you looking to instigate or create a life change?

If you answer YES, your soul is calling you.  Your dream is calling you.

And it is up to you to follow the call wherever it may lead….

A safe place to call home

If you find yourself in disbelief and disillusioned over the political scene and world affairs and wonder where we are heading, it may be a good time to approach life from a different perspective.

These are the times when we are given an opportunity to reflect on what is truly important in life and to discover our own true identity and balance. Do you let the world define you, or do you move closer to your core, which is the only truly safe place to call home?

It is a time for decisions, and we offer a safe place to build yourself anew, based on unconditional love and unity consciousness. When you find your core, through Sacred Wisdom Studies and guidance, you are not affected by the shifting winds of circumstances or subject to the cycles of change that govern physical reality. Your physical reality is not the eternal and true part of who you are, but rather you are eternal beings, sparks of a divine infinite potential, sovereign and creators of your own reality; responsible, conscious participants in your experiences.

Sacred Light Academy offers a new understanding that will open your mind to a whole new paradigm, with Sacred Wisdom Studies and tools that will allow you to access your own guidance and forgotten knowledge. We offer empowerment. Some of the teachings might be challenging to the mind, but your spirit will soar with joy and peace and affirm that you have found your home.

Are you in the midst of pain and crisis, wondering what life is all about or what your purpose in being on Earth is?

It was January 2013, when Awakening Counselor Veronique Nelson ~ who had moved to the United States from France after getting married ~ found herself divorced and alone, with no family or friends to offer help or guidance.

She heard about a meeting group of supportive and nurturing women being offered at RoseSprings Center, and, feeling almost hopeless, Veronique went for the first time.

“I walked through the door and people picked up on how low I was,” Veronique recalled. “It was exactly what it was advertised as ~ it was a group of women taking time to support each other. I didn’t have that in my life, and it was just what I needed. I didn’t know there were actually places that were spiritual like this.”

RoseSprings Center offers a free care consultation, and Veronique, who advocates for alternative holistic healing, including energy healing such as Reiki and Pranic Healing, encourages people to take advantage of the opportunity for transformational healing, both physical and spiritual.

“Anyone who walks through our door will be directed toward what’s best for them,” she said. “And I know they will leave with something positive.”

Deborah O’Brien, Life Coach and Energy Healer

Did you know that we all have trapped energies that cause dis-ease and pain? They affect your mood and behaviors that can lead to poor choices and these energies do not support your health and life relationship.

Some of these energies are negative emotions from life experiences or that have been inherited from our birth parents or other ancestors.  They can form what is known as “heart walls” of emotional energy blocks that prohibit us from experiencing authentic intimate relationships.  They can express themselves as  bitterness, betrayal, hatred, insecurity, anxiety, depression, abandonment, jealousy, shame, guilt, anger, etc.  Each of these emotions can be identified within the energy field and can be detected by using muscle or pendulum testing.

Specific emotional vibrations get trapped in specific organs in the body impacting the normal function of the system. This abnormality is called The Emotion Code.

In addition, The Body Code helps identify 6 other components that cause imbalances in your body system that can be cleared with the use of a magnet along what ancient Chinese medicine has identified as the Governing Meridian.  These healing methods for clearing energies were discovered and developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, a holistic chiropractor.  He found that when working on his patients, beneath their physical symptoms there seemed to be an emotional component. This emotional component seemed to cause either a delay in healing, or actually prevented healing altogether. Dr. Nelson began identifying and releasing emotions that had become trapped in his patients’ bodies. The results were positive. He codified the method in his book The Emotion Code.

As some of you may know, crystals are the original medicines of earth. In the days of old, many types of crystals were made into gem elixirs, powders and amulets to help protect, heal and progress spiritually.

Crystals, minerals, gems, they all have powerful healing properties. You can use crystals for your physical body, chakras, aura, etheric body, home environment and so much more!

Crystal Therapy is a great way to clear and balance your energy. By placing various crystals around or on the body (also known as Laying of Stones) you can remove blockages, past beliefs, cording, attachments and stagnation in your being. Crystal Therapy can also enhance your chakras and intuitive abilities; another great side-effect is a boost in self-esteem, calmness and peace. Always trust your intuition and know that the crystals hold great love for all beings!

Brightest of Blessings…

Here are a few flavorful and healthy tips that Ramilton, Licensed Massage Therapist and Bowen Work Practitioner wants to share with you. Number 1 is my favorite, which one is yours?

Not everybody has a taste for water, but we all need it to ensure that our bodies continue functioning properly. If you want to drink more water, but aren’t crazy about the taste (or lack thereof), here are some tips that can make it more enjoyable:

1. Add fresh fruit.

Citrus fruits, such as lemons, limes, and oranges, are classic water enhancers, but other fruit flavors might also tempt your taste buds.

2. Use juice.

Any fruit juice can be a good base flavor for water, but tart juices, like cranberry, pomegranate, grape, and apple, are especially delicious. Go for juices that are all natural, with no added sugars.

3. Make it bubbly.

Many people prefer sparkling to still water. If plain old water isn’t inspiring to you, try a naturally effervescent mineral water — which will give you the added benefit of minerals. Or try bubbly seltzer, a carbonated water.

4. Get creative with ice.

Some say that ice water tastes better than water served at room temperature. If that’s so, flavored ice cubes may make an even better drink.

5. Drink tea.

Herbal, fruit, green, white, and red teas are generally considered to be better for you than black teas (or coffee, for that matter) because they contain little to no caffeine. And there are countless flavors of these teas to choose from.

6. Try bouillons, broths, and consommés.

If your palate leans toward the savory, you may pass on tea and start sipping one of these hot and savory liquids instead. Choose low-fat and low-sodium versions for maximum health benefits. Because soup is water-based, a cup of hot soup will count toward your daily fluid consumption.

7. Add fast flavor.

If you’re looking for a quick-and-easy flavor booster, you might also consider sugar- free drink mixes, and flavor cartridges that can be used with your faucet filter system.

There are 80,000 chemicals registered for use in the U.S! And many of these disrupt your body systems (immune, nervous, endocrine, reproductive).

Air pollutants, cigarette smoke, health care products, heavy metals, household cleaning products, pesticides/herbicides, pharmaceuticals, preservatives/additives, trans fats, GMO’d foods, healthcare products, and the list goes on……

Some symptoms are fatigue/difficulty sleeping, digestion or GI problems, food craving/weight gain, reduced mental clarity, and low libido, joint/muscle aches and pains.

1) LIVER- filters toxins, helps metabolize fats, proteins, and carbs, transforms toxins into less harmful agents

2) KIDNEY- filters waste and excess fluid form the blood, regulates proper Na, potassium, and Phosphorus for body to function properly

3) SMALL INTESTINES- digests food so nutrients can be absorbed into blood and transported to the liver, also provides a barrier to block toxins from rest of body

4) LARGE INTESTINES- absorbs water and electrolytes and forms waste to be excreted from the body, produces antibodies for GI health, contains special bacteria that create fatty acids and some vitamins for extra nutritional health

* MSG, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, sugar…

* The U.S. allows more than 3,000 chemicals to be added into our foods.

* The average American consumes more than 75lbs of sugar annually

Thai massage is an important component of a comprehensive, traditional system known as Thai medicine — a 2,500-year-old method of natural healing developed in the ancient kingdom of Siam, now modern Thailand. Traditional Thai medicine is composed of four major branches: Herbal medicine, food cures and nutrition, spiritual practices and the manual therapies of Thai massage, or nuad bo’rarn. Traditional Thai massage is based on an energetic paradigm of the human body and mind. Energy is thought to travel on pathways, called sen, throughout the body. Specific points of energy on these pathways are called nadis. Energy freely along these pathways as it blends acupressure and stretching, facilitating balance and health.

Thai massage is an interactive therapy involving the gentle stretching of muscles with pressure from a practitioner’s palms, thumbs and feet. The recipient will usually wear loose-fitting clothing while lying on a cotton mat on the floor. No oils or lotions are used during the 90-minute session. In Thailand, it is not uncommon for sessions to last up to three hours.

The techniques of Thai massage are applied very slowly. It is impossible to work too slowly as long as there is some movement. The slowness of the practice facilitates the tendency toward mindfulness. Because many of the techniques require heightened flexibility of both the practitioner and recipient, the slowness significantly diminishes the chance for injury.

Proper body mechanics are key in the application of Thai massage. Often referred to as “assisted yoga,” many aspects of a Thai session resemble those of yoga postures. While anyone can receive Thai massage, certain procedures should be eliminated if they are not appropriate for the recipient (i.e., certain stretches of the back and legs would be avoided for individuals with lumbar disc problems).

Thai massage has been utilized for centuries as an important healing tool in the treatment of a wide variety of ailments such as musculoskeletal problems, internal medical problems, neurological complaints and emotional distress. Its benefits include structural alignment, increased flexibility, and decreased muscular and joint tension. Even for a novice, Thai massage can provide a good opportunity to achieve a state of deep mental and emotional equanimity, profound stress relief and moments of sweet bliss.
