Dr. Jorge Kaufmann, ND, L.Ac.
Dr. Jorge M. Kaufmann is a licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist as well as adjunct faculty
at Heald College in Portland, Oregon where he teaches anatomy and physiology, clinical medical
procedures, and medical terminology.
He speaks regularly throughout the Portland Metro area on the subjects of hormonal health, immune
balance, men's health, and restoring physiology in chronic disease.
Doctor Kaufmann convenes monthly with a local group of physicians to promote advancement in the art of
medicine through discussions on anthroposophy, Chinese theory, nature cure, as well as current trends
and research findings in the conventional allopathic and naturopathic medical fields.
A family doctor with practices in Hillsboro and Portland, he specializes in optimizing health and overcoming chronic illness. Cancer, hormonal problems, and autoimmune disease, as well as men's health and pain and injury are addressed using non-invasive, non-suppressive therapies: acupuncture, qigong, and breathing techniques; nutrition and supplementation; herbal and homeopathic biotherapeutic drainage; and hydrotherapy and lifestyle choices. He uses these therapies with a commitment to treat the individual, create change, and restore balance of body, mind, and spirit.
Dr. Kaufmann receives advanced training from Arnaud Versluys, PhD, and Dick Thom, DDS, ND, and has tremendous gratitude for the influence that Heiner Fruehauf, PhD, and Zhongxian Wu have had in establishing his practice style.
