Dr. Elizabeth McElligott, ND
Elizabeth McElligott, ND completed her Bachelor of Science at Ithaca College in Central New York in 2002.
Dr. McElligott then earned her Naturopathic Doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM)
in Portland, Oregon.
Upon graduation in June of 2010, she completed an internship focusing on optimal aging and bio-identical
hormone replacement therapy in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. McElligott's goal is treating the whole body individually. Treatment plans usually include a combination of nutraceuticals, herbs, and natural treatments with specific lifestyle changes. Her goal is to meet people where they are, and treat appropriately. She works with many different health issues and is particularly interested in treating hormone problems and digestive problems. She specializes in minor surgery and botox and dermal fillers. In addition, Dr. McElligott enjoys helping patients achieve long-term weight loss through identifying metabolism disorders and underlying causes of weight gain, as well as creating individual and group weight-loss programs to achieve optimal health.
In naturopathic medical school, Dr. McElligott trained extensively in the areas of clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, minor surgery, counseling, women's health and midwifery as well as conventional medical treatments. She has completed extra coursework in the areas of women's health, midwifery, bio-identical hormone balancing and nutrition.
