Cara grew up in Oregon and has called the Portland area home for the last 20 years.
She graduated from Portland State with a Masters in Special Education and has taught in the public
schools for the past nine years.
After a rewarding experience in the education system, Cara felt the need for a career change;
therefore she sought out training in the massage field.
She received her education from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland Oregon as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2008. Her course of studies included; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu and Hot Stone massage. Cara continues to enrich her knowledge through continuing education classes.
Cara believes that massage plays an important role in balancing the body, mind and spirit. She customizes each massage to the client's needs. She provides a comfortable atmosphere to relieve client's stress and anxiety.
In Cara's free time she enjoys, traveling, camping, crafts, games, white water rafting, as well as being in nature. She also enjoys the companionship of her children and animals.
