Hillsboro Job Seekers Support and Networking

As an employer, are you faced with having to downsize your staff? You are committed to assisting them during their time of transition but don't know where to start? Then encourage them to attend the free Job Seekers Support and Networking program on held every Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at RoseSprings Center. Each week, a different topic of discussion will be led by various local experts, providing opportunities for professional growth and development. Participants will learn how to prepare and differentiate themselves in a challenging job market. There is no charge for this program.

In difficult economic times all businesses and organizations must focus on the fundamentals. For the Greater Hillsboro Area Chamber of Commerce this means jobs - both job creation and job retention. Keeping the Hillsboro area employed will maintain prosperity, reduce stress, and help maintain pride and a sense of community purpose.

The chamber is a resource for job seekers, providing the support they need during this time of economic uncertainty. They are committed to being a lead partner in the community by providing opportunities for professional growth and development. For more information about this new program, contact your business development manager, Jon-Michael Kowertz at 503-726-2151 or jonmk@hillchamber.org or find the Hillsboro Jobseekers Support and Networking group on LinkedIn.com.

More resources are available on the chamber's Job Seekers Support and Networking page.
