Michaela’s passion is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. A firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, Michaela is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.
In addition to humans Michaela is a C.S.A.M.P. (certified small animal massage practitioner) and passionate about providing massage for small animals. She believes in returning the love that our pets give us. Dogs and cat can suffer from the same tension as humans do, especially aging pets.
Michaela’s approach to massage therapy for both humans and animals is practical and focused. She is sensitive to the concerns of her clients and offers them a variety of self-care alternatives for home and work. Her specialties include Trigger Point, Deep Tissue Sports Massage, TMJ, Mayo Facial Release and Ashiatsu. She is also a Certified CPR Instructor and graduated from Anthem College, formerly known as Cambridge College in 2006.
Some little known things that Michaela shared about herself:
1. I was born and raised in Southwestern Germany and moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue an education.
2.I love ‘loving’ on my dog Thor.
