One of the Centers newer features is offering school pre-participation Sports Physicals at a price of only $25.00. These specialized physicals are mandatory for children who want to participate in any organized school sport. At our center, you won't have to worry about getting an appointment with a doctor on short notice because our doctors, Dr. Tooba Durrani and Dr. Amy Spellmeyer, are setting aside time just to see you! Insurance does not always cover the needed exam, but at our low price of $25, you don't have to worry about what your insurance will or won't cover. Dr. Tooba Durrani and Dr. Amy Spellmeyer will be providing this required service to any individuals who would like an appointment in a relaxing, comfortable environment. Dr. Tooba Durrani is a Naturopathic Physician and an Acupuncturist. Many of you are already aware of the wonderful services she offers including the Anti-Inflammatory Life Style, weekly group acupuncture, and Qi Gong classes.
Dr. Amy Spellmeyer is the newest member of our RoseSprings team. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Western States Chiropractic College, is a Chiropractic Physician whose treatment approach blends gentle chiropractic care with Applied Kinesiology, Craniosacral Therapy, Graston Technique and may also incorporate physiotherapy, rehabilitation exercises, and easy stretching. Dr. Spellmeyer's education began at Purdue University where she studied Wildlife and was a collegiate track and field athlete. She Pole Vaulted for Purdue University where she won two Big Ten titles, became an All-American, and qualified for the Olympic trials in 2000. Athletics is still a major part of Dr. Spellmeyer's life as she workouts daily, runs ½ marathons, and is always looking for the next physical challenge. Dr. Spellmeyer is interested in providing classes that are geared towards helping individuals stretch properly to good running mechanics to how to work out aerobically. Gymnastics has also been a large part of Dr. Spellmeyer's life and is in the process of developing a tumbling class for individuals between the ages of 2-6 at RoseSprings Center. Dr. Spellmeyer has the ability to treat a myriad of complaints ranging from headaches to low back pain to shoulder pain to soft tissue injuries. If you are wondering if a chiropractor can help you, Dr. Spellmeyer is more than willing to consult with you about your complaint at no charge. Dr. Amy Spellmeyer is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal health with gentle, safe and effective care. She believes in the power of chiropractic care to address problems at the source, rather than simply covering up the symptoms. Her main objective is to restore balance to the body in order to enable each of her patients to have a full life while living healthy.
